Coherence

Loving rays of sunshine spread out over this new day

They filter through branches and leaves, and glimmer in the pearly eyes of waking birds

As they caress the golden fields, the grass starts to stand up straight and flowers slowly open their petals to bring colour to the world

Comfortably I sit in awe,

Listening to familiar birdsong, and to the shuffling of insects.

Finally the sunshine reaches me, to softly kiss my closed eyelids.

And so the birds, the bugs, the leave and the wind,

Start to sing in unison

And I begin to feel…

Like I don’t know where my body ends and everything else begins…
